Dungeon Spider

Wargames Atlantic Classic Fantasy Spiders. 

Each box comes with six spruces for more spiders than you can shake a stick at... I picked up a single spruce from somewhere on the internet. (Thanks, Internet!) 

The biggest problem with this set is that it comes with no instructions. It has all sorts of options. Sounds like a job for the Internet...
Guy Bowers of Wargames Soldiers and Strategy Magazine has developed a handy guide with his strategy for building our spiders. (You can find the link on the Atlantic product page).  

I used Blutack to hold the main body upside-down while I glued the legs on. I drilled matching holes into the main body and the tail(?) thingy. A short length of plastic rod was then used to provide strength. 

I'm happy with my first attempt. It's sturdy on its legs, and it creeps me out. If glued to a base, it would be easier to attach the legs.
